Nutritional Sciences

Complete Course on Nutritional Science for Integrative Healthcare Practitioners (NUTH-001)

Description
CERTIFIED & ACCREDITED BY APTN-COFENAT
DURATION: 30 HOURS AND ABOVE

Because in alternative medicine we take into consideration the individual as a whole when we develop the case taking and plan a therapeutic scope for the patient, it is necessary to consider his or her nutritional habits within the scope of the treatment. For instance a diabetic condition with a nutritional plan in the background will bring much better outcomes to the patient together with the treatment plan, it is scientifically proven that a calorie restrictive and ketogenic diet will maintain the glycemic levels of the diabetic patient under normal values if the plan is designed properly and supervised by a qualified nutricionist or endocrinologist.

This course is designed for homeopaths, naturopaths, physiotherapists, pharmacists, biologists, health & nutrition coachs and for all those alternative medicine practitioners who are willing to include and explore a complementary therapeutic approach in their daily clinical practice. It is divided into two blocks: one which will introduce you to the basic concepts in dietary science and nutrition and a second block where we dive directly into the different pathological states of the patient and how nutrition and food can help your patients bring better outcomes on a daily basis. As Socrates already mentioned "Let thy Food be Medicine and Let Medicine be thy food".

This course is projected for a Level 1 stage, this means that in the future there will be other editions where we will be getting deeper into the subject and include other clinical tips and chronic conditions with their relation to food and nutrition. Of course to register into the next level it will be required to have the certificate of Level 1. For this course you don't need to have previous knowledge in nutritional sciences, as it starts right from the beginning introducing basic concepts and getting gradually deeper into a little more complex concepts that you will understand perfectly if you have understood the previous units.

With this course you will be able to have more control over the realm of a huge and vast science like nutrition, and control means understanding of the nutritional conditions of your patients and their daily habits. In more than 25 hours this course will give you enough background to expand your therapeutic approach towards your patients and be able to offer some healthy nutritional tips and recommendations for your patient's overall wellbeing.
